FAQ

What is detailing and how does it differ from valeting?

Detailing is a more involved process, addressing minor imperfections in the paint, bringing surfaces back to life and protections inside and out. Valeting is more focused on the wash. Whilst it will make your car shiny it won’t involve the same level of paint correction, polishing and protection.

How long will it take?

This depends on the size and what is required. Our basic package takes a day but if protection is added it will require 12 hours inside. Some bigger jobs can take up to a week but we will advise you before you give us your keys.

Do you offer a loan car?

Yes all our packages can come with a loan car, it won’t be a Porsche but it will keep you mobile whilst we work on your pride and joy.

Do you offer collection and delivery?

Yes we can drive or use an enclosed transport, please ask us for a quote.

I am going on holiday, can I leave my car with you?

Yes, we have a car storage business so can build storage into your quote.

Will I notice a difference?

100%, you know that feeling where you look back at your car, you will find yourself doing it more and we can recommend a good sports massage to fix your neck.

Is my car safe with you?

Absolutely it is, security is the most important thing, the site is discreet, doesn’t have any passing traffic and the keys will always be left in the safe. CCTV, monitored alarm and more!

What’s the difference between you and a mobile detailer?

Good question, by using us we can put your car on a ramp giving us eye level view, it’s also inside so we can work all year round and the protection we use needs to cure before being hit with the outside elements. We know some fantastic mobile guys, if what you want for your car doesn’t require us then we can put you in touch with them.

I’ve had my car protected – what next?

Washing a protected car is easier but we stress do not let your dealer wash it after a service and avoid all public hand or machine car washes. The chemicals they may use can impact the coating or ppf. Always wash it yourself or by a trusted valeter/detailer. We will show you the best products to get to do it at home, quick and enjoyable! If anything, you will need less products on your shelf.

My coating was meant to last 3 years but it’s not as good after 12 months?

A lot of coatings quote a time frame but don’t mention mileage which is odd, if you’re doing 100,000 miles a year then then the winter roads will impact your coating quicker, if it’s a garage queen then it will last longer. Just tell our team about your car and we can advise. Also coatings do get clogged up so we sell a reactivate shampoo that will unblock the pores and bring the coating back to life.

How often should I wash my car?

Completely up to you, ideally every 2 weeks but if you can’t or don’t want to then don’t worry.

Can I top up my coating?

Yes, most companies will have a spray formula of the coating which can easily be applied at home to give the base coating an added layer of protection.

Do you offer a maintenance wash?

Yes, these start from £80 but if you can’t get to us we can come to you using one of our trusted local detailers who buy the products from us.

Can I call for cleaning advice?

Yes, we love talking about cars and how to keep them looking amazing.

What is 0ppm water?

0 Parts Per Million water is an ultra-pure water with virtually no dissolved minerals, salts, or impurities. We filter this on site and constantly check the levels meaning we can let a car drip dry even on the hottest day of the year.
